Individual values for normalized impact sound level
The weighted normalized impact sound level L'n,w determined in accordance with DIN EN ISO 140-7 is a value characterizing the transmission of sound via the floor.
Note:
It should be kept in mind that in order to determine the normalized impact sound level, the floor outside of the audio box is struck by a normalized tapping machine, and the level of noise interference entering the audio box is measured. For this reason, in contrast to insulation values for air-borne sound, here lower values indicate less sound transmission and thus better insulation of the floor construction against structure-borne sound.
